TTSS is an acknowledged

wayfinding assistance through touchscreen applications.
We began developing our SelfInform wayfinding systems
to fill this niche and supply additional aid to
hospital visitors in finding their destinations.
TTSS accomplishes
this task by working with the client to determine
the best method for getting visitors from the touchscreen
location to their final destination. We take your
raw map files and turn them into user-friendly maps
that will work well within a digital wayfinding
application. We then determine the destinations
that your visitors will require, and work with you
to develop the best directions to each of those
destinations. Finally, we work with the client to
draw the digital map paths that will overlay the
maps we produced.

In very
simple terms, that is a description of a typical
wayfinding project. What is not evident in this
example is the experience that TTSS brings to each
project. For example, many of our clients come into
a project expecting to provide directions to every
possible destination within the facility. Our project
managers know how to redirect the efforts of the
project team, and determine actual destinations
for your visitors. Destinations such as surgery
and critical care units should not be listed as
destinations, but rather surgical waiting areas
and critical care check in desks would be listed.
In another cases, our experience tells us that
hospital staff members take short cuts when moving
from one place to another in the hospital. Our project
managers focus on getting visitors to their destinations
by directing them in the best way, not necessarily
