Digital Signage
for
Government Buildings
With the additional security concerns of the new
century, TTSS has seen a shift in focus in the systems
we deliver to most governmental agencies. In previous
years, most agencies would list personnel and office
locations without a consideration to how that information
was used. In this modern age, agencies are still
posting information in public spaces, but they are
being much more thoughtful regarding the content
of the data.
TTSS has typically seen a shift from listings of
personnel to more of a listing of high-level departmental
and agency information. There is still a need to
give information to the public via these electronic
signage systems, but the agencies are more selective.
The original ideas behind electronic signage systems
have not changed, however. One of the primary drivers
behind offering this information is to provide more
accurate information regarding destinations, meetings
and announcements and also to permit lobby personnel
to perform their primary tasks more efficiently.
